I’m using EventON v2.2.21 core and RSVP Events v2.1.2.
We’re using the software on our intranet, and every user is logged in (no anonymous visitors). RSVP Events allows the same user to submit multiple RSVPs for the same event. I purchased RSVP Events to avoid this specific problem.
I assumed that, if a user was logged into WordPress and attempted to RSVP, they would see a message like “you have already registered” if they already have. Is this not something the software supports, or is it an error?
Adding to the confusion is that the page doesn’t reload after someone submits an RSVP. Therefore, the EventCard RSVP doesn’t show that someone has added their RSVP – causing them to click again and submit multiple registrations. Refreshing the page loads the current data and RSVP count, but most users won’t think to do this.
I would really like to see this resolved.
REQUESTS: RSVP Events not restricting RSVPs from same user
